On my way in to work some schmuck obviously thought it to be a good idea to block the cycle lane and force all the cyclist onto a very busy dual-carriage way.
Nice you got his number plate so clearly. Where I work they put cycle lanes in roads so narrow you have to drive in them to avoid hitting the traffic coming the other way. I expect it makes the council feel good about looking after the cyclists.
Writing from Los Angeles with a random and bizarre request for help.
I'm trying to get my hands on one of those black, thin, plastic, free Underground oyster card holders. They gave them out years ago -- no idea if they still do.
Any chance you'd know how to get one or where I could get one? Will pay!
Please email me at kromine@yahoo.com if you can help.

That's just pure inconsideration.
Many a time have I confronted a driver to tell them that they were endangering my safety. "I was only parked for 5 minutes," he says.
It only takes 5 seconds or even less to get hit by another vehicle on a dual carriageway, busy or not.
